Our story

Positioned on the banks of the Kawhatau Valley river at 500 metres above sea level, our family farm’s stoney river terraces provide the optimum growing environment for mid to late season asparagus, supplying fresh, premium quality asparagus from October through to late January.

HANDPICKED & BUNCHED

There is a lot of love and care that goes into our asparagus. Every spear is carefully hand selected for quality, size, and freshness before being hand bunched.

Commitment to Sustainability

We are a family-owned and operated business run by husband-and-wife team, Sam and Hannah Rainey. We are dedicated to supporting the long-term sustainability of New Zealand’s asparagus industry. The same love and care we put into our asparagus starts with a love of the land. By practising sustainable farming methods, we protect our soil, nurture biodiversity, and contribute the long-term future of New Zealand’s agricultural industry for generations to come.
