Asparagus wrapped in bacon


10 jumbo (large spears) of Mangaweka Asparagus, or 20 thinner spears.

10 slices of streaky bacon.


  1. Wash and snap off ends of asparagus and then dry with a paper towel.
  2. Wrap bacon around the full length of the spear, leaving the tip showing.
  3. Place on baking tray and cook in the oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes, or until bacon is cooked.
